Double Click Theatre is a Portsmouth-based Theatre company made up of five Level 6 BA Musical Theatre Students from the University of Portsmouth.

As a company we are focused on creating a level playing field to educate on how people can and do communicate through limitations that people wouldn’t conventionally consider. Exploring, isolation, estrangement, lack of technology, hidden disabilities, emotional distancing, etc. We aim to show how communication can be explored in all different ways and to help connect people to others and support those who feel alone. We hope our work will educate and inspire new connections and normalise all the different ways in which people with all kinds of barriers communicate with one another, telling a story in a world everyone knows and can relate to.
